You cringe at each creak on the old stairs, does it sway your determination to make it to the top? You see a shadow flickering at the corner of your vision. You freeze, and as you stand there, you catch the sent of lingering decay in the air. A shiver curls through the hairs on the back of your neck then cascades down your backbone. Do you hurl yourself back down the stairs towards safety or do you continue into the Nightmare?
